Family Tree Film is run by Neil Weightman t/a Weightman Digital, Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. We are the controller of the information you send us. Contact: [email protected]
We use this information only to make and deliver your film, poster and fact sheet, and to talk to you about your order. Our lawful basis is the contract between us. We rely on you to only include people who would be happy to be in the film, and the order form asks you to confirm you have permission to share the photos you send.
Only us. We never sell or share your information, and nothing appears in our portfolio or adverts without your written permission. Files are held on our UK and EU based hosting while we work on your film.
We delete your uploaded files and family details 90 days after we deliver your film, so there's time for corrections and a lost download. We keep the basic order record (your name, email, what you bought and when) for six years, because the law requires us to keep business records.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time, or ask us to stop using it, by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
